What I believe

For years, scale meant hiring. AI is compressing execution so aggressively that coordination is becoming the new tax. The teams that add headcount too early will lose to smaller operators with stronger judgment, sharper taste, and faster feedback loops.

But the hopeful part: when execution gets cheaper, more people get to act on what they know. More builders can turn expertise into products without building an institution around themselves first. That changes who gets to build, who gets to win, and how quickly ideas can become real.

What I see
The real question is no longer what AI can do. It's which parts of a company were only valuable because execution used to be expensive.

I've operated on both sides of this shift — teams, funding, long product cycles, and now an operating model where AI compresses months into days. Every week I run live build sessions testing tools and shipping systems I use in my own businesses, in public. People show up to watch the process, not the pitch.

The next breakout companies will be smaller for longer. Expertise paired with AI will outperform organizations built around coordination. Pure coordination as a value layer is shrinking.
